As we are getting ready for the Passaic County Book Festival on June 10th in Weasel Brook Park, we are looking back at the history of our libraries in Passaic County. This week we are looking at the North Haledon Public Library. The library in North Haledon officially opened on March 5, 1930, by Mayor William Ballentine. This photo was taken in 1962 of the old library building. The library moved to its current location on Overlook Avenue in 1964. (Image courtesy of the PCHS Archives)
