Anyone in need of a warming center should go directly to one of the warming centers listed below

A #CodeBlueAlert is being issued for Passaic County. According to the National Weather Service (1) the temperature will reach 32 degrees Fahrenheit or lower; or (2) a windfall temperature of zero degrees Fahrenheit or less for a period of two (2) hours or more.

Anyone in need of a warming center should go directly to one of the warming centers listed below. If you are aware of any unsheltered homeless individuals in need of assistance, call the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch at (973) 389-5951 and advise the dispatcher that there is an at-risk individual in need of a welfare check under the Passaic County Code Blue Alert Plan. Anyone in need of more information, please call 211 or text your zip code to 898-211, and a call specialist will be happy to assist.
