If you're looking for something fun to do this evening, while helping out a good cause, the 40th Annual Sol Stetin Awards Gala is being held tonight at The Tides Estate in North Haledon at 6:30 p.m.
The Awards are named for Sol Stetin who was the former president of the Textile Workers Union of America and a founder of the American Labor Museum / Botto House National Landmark. The Sol Stetin Awards Gala is a major fundraiser for the American Labor Museum, and has been presented annually, since 1982, to honor individuals for their outstanding contributions toward the working people. A $125 contribution to attend the gala goes to the American Labor Museum.
