Our Olmsted200 picnic will feature a variety of activities, one of them being Qi Gong, an ancient Chinese meditation ritual which involves controlled breathing, and movement exercises.
Join us on the Boathouse lawn on Garret Mountain on Sunday, July 31st from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with Tara Farley. Tara has been teaching Qi Gong throughout Passaic and Bergen counties for over 20 years.
She will be teaching a class centered on lung health to honor Frederick Law Olmsted’s insistence that public parks are the lungs of a community.
