Montclair State University hosted its 2025 Homecoming on Saturday, September 27, bringing together hundreds of alumni, as well as faculty, staff, and students. The event featured a variety of activities such as a street fair, live music performed by the campus radio station WMSC, tailgating events, and a football game against Wilkes University at Sprague Field.

A highlight of the day was the taping of PBS’s “Think Tank with Steve Adubato.” Emmy Award-winning broadcaster Steve Adubato engaged in a conversation with President Jonathan Koppell. According to the university’s release: "They covered topics ranging from the importance of bold leadership to the state of American media to the role of Universities in fostering a civically engaged populace." The segment was produced for broadcast by a student production team from Montclair’s College of Communication and Media.

The Homecoming event aimed to strengthen community ties among current students and alumni while providing opportunities for engagement through entertainment and academic discussion.
