Former Hawthorne High School standout Emily Bakker played on Saturday, May 17 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division III Softball Championship

On Saturday, May 17, former Hawthorne High School standout Emily Bakker’s current collegiate team the Gettysburg Bullets won 2-0 against the Ramapo Roadrunners in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Bobby Jones Field at 3:55 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Ramapo Roadrunners in the tournament.

The Gettysburg Bullets’ next game will take place on Thursday, May 22 at 2 p.m. at Tom and Betty Broyles Field at TowneBank Park.
