U.S. News & World Report has published the 2025 Best Graduate Schools rankings, recognizing Montclair State University's programs as among the best in the United States.
The university's Education, Public Health, Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology, and Part-Time MBA programs were included in the rankings. The rankings highlight several achievements of Montclair's graduate offerings.
The graduate specialization in Elementary Teacher Education ranked 21st in the nation. The Doctor of Audiology and Master's in Speech-Language Pathology programs were newly added to this year's ranking, reaching the 61st and 105th positions nationally, and placing second in New Jersey. Montclair’s overall graduate programs in Education were rated 108th overall and second in the state. The Master of Public Health came in at 168th place, and the Part-Time MBA program improved by ten spots to 197th.
Montclair State University provides 116 master's and eight doctoral programs within its 13 colleges and schools. "Our graduate programs prepare students to enter the next phase of their careers with the skills needed to thrive in their chosen fields," remarked Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Junius Gonzales. "These rankings are the latest indication that Montclair’s stature as a comprehensive research university with cutting-edge programs continues to ascend."
