Chuck Muth, a Montclair alumnus and native of Paterson, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, saying, “Growing up in Paterson and attending Montclair State University gave me the foundation I needed to achieve my dreams in business and in life, so to continue our support in this unique way is an incredible opportunity.”

The museum, funded by Muth's $5 million gift, will focus on the history and legacy of Hinchliffe Stadium, a significant cultural landmark in Paterson. Museum Director Jessica Bush emphasized the stadium's importance, stating, “Hinchliffe Stadium was constructed as ‘the city stadium’ with Paterson residents in mind.”
