Free to use Grayscale Photography of Four Women Wearing Clothes | Hannah Nelson
It's Women's HIstory Month. Join us Saturday, March 4 at 1:00 pm for a Free poetry reading by Crystal Valentine and Jenny Xie. Ms. Valentine is an internationally acclaimed poet, activist, and educator whose work has been featured on MSNBC and CNN and in numerous publications. Ms. Xie is an author, a finalist for the National Book Award in Poetry, and recipient of the Walt Whitman Award of the Academy of American Poets. and Holmes National Poetry Prize from Princeton University.
In addition to the reading, both Ms. Valentine and Ms. Xie will offer a poetry writing workshop earlier in day, at 10 am. Fee for the workshop is $20 per person. Events will be held at PCCC's Hamilton Club, 32 Church St. Paterson. For more info, click here: https://www.poetrycenterpccc.com/readings
